Rubbish removal in Shanklin, clifftop or seafront, we reach it

Shanklin sits on two levels: the Esplanade by the sea, and the town and Old Village up on the cliff. The cliff lift is no use for a sideboard, so we plan the road route and the carry for your address.

Two levels, three kinds of job

Where your Shanklin address sits

Thatch

Careful round the eaves

Thatch makes us more careful, not slower. If yours is thatched, say so when you ask for a quote.

  • Van parked clear

Well away from low eaves, never tucked against the roofline.

  • Nothing against the walls

Items are never leaned on the cottage while we load.

  • Out through the door

Large pieces come out the doorway, not hauled past roof edges.

  • Cottage gardens too

Green waste, pots and broken garden furniture on the same visit.

FAQ

Shanklin rubbish removal questions

Short answers. If yours is not here, call or send it with your quote.

My cottage is thatched. Is that a problem?

No, but tell us when you ask for a quote. We park well clear of the eaves, keep everything off the walls and allow a little more time.

Can you use the cliff lift to move things?

No. The lift, finished in 1892, and the Chine path are for people on foot. We reach Esplanade properties by road and carry from the nearest legal stop.

Can you collect from a hotel or holiday flat on the Esplanade?

Yes. Hotel and guest house waste is business waste, so mention that and we'll explain what paperwork is needed.

Which day is the council's bulky collection in Shanklin?

Thursday. In October 2026 it cost £62 for four items or fewer, collected from the kerb.

Do you take garden waste from Shanklin gardens?

Yes, with broken garden furniture and pots. Green waste is kept apart so it can be composted.
