What's included
Every stream from the job, in one van
Sorted as we load, because sorted waste costs less to dispose of.
Rubble and hardcore
Brick, block, concrete, tile, soil and turf.
Clean plasterboard
Kept apart as its own stream. No tiles or other materials stuck to it.
Timber and joinery
Joists, skirting, doors, pallets and offcuts.
Suites and kitchens
Old bathroom suites, kitchen units, radiators and pipework.
Loose, sacked or bulk bags
We load it however it's piled. Bagging just makes heavy waste quicker.
A transfer note per load
Or one note covering a series of collections of the same waste.
Who we help
Builders, renovators and homeowners
Builders and trades
Your site waste is business waste. We take it to the commercial site with a note.
Home renovations
Bathroom, kitchen or extension done? The leftover pile goes in one visit.
Stage collections
Regular pick-ups keep the site clear without a skip on the drive.
Windows and doors
Old frames and doors from the refit, collected with the rest.

Rubble, plasterboard, timber and metal kept apart, then we sweep up.
- 4

Priced on weight and type
Builders' waste is heavy and varies a lot. By the council's figures a 50-litre sack of rubble weighs 35 to 45 kg, so a van fills by weight first.
- 01Weight and typeRubble, soil and plasterboard are heavy. Timber and packaging are bulky but light.
- 02How mixed it isSeparated waste is quicker to load and cheaper to dispose of than a mixed heap.
- 03Where it isBagged at the kerb, in the back garden, or still upstairs.
- 04One load or severalA single clear-up, or collections at stages through a build.
A fixed price before we start
- Free, no-obligation quote
- Priced from photos, with something for scale
- Fixed before anything is booked
- A transfer note with every load

Tip, skip or collection?
For a weekend job on your own house, a few booked tip trips may still be cheapest. Once it's a builder's job, the rules change.

What we can't take
- Asbestos, including cement sheets
- Liquid paint, solvents and adhesives
- Gas bottles and fuel
- Japanese knotweed
- Contaminated soil
- Tyres in bulk
Think you've found asbestos? Stop work on that area, don't break it up, and get a sample tested. Once it has been dealt with, we clear the rest. See our hazardous waste guide.

FAQ
Builders' waste questions
Short answers. If yours is not here, call or send it with your quote.
Can my builder use my free tip allowance?
No. Since 14 September 2026 the council charges for waste from contractor-led work and for DIY waste brought by any third party on a resident's behalf. Commercial waste goes to the Lynnbottom commercial site through a registered carrier.
Do you take plasterboard?
Yes, as long as it's clean, with no tiles or other materials attached. We keep it apart from the rest of the load because it has to be handled as its own waste stream.
How much rubble fits in a van?
Less than people expect. A 50-litre sack of rubble weighs 35 to 45 kg, so a van hits its weight limit long before it's full. Tell us how many sacks or how big the pile is.
Do you take asbestos?
No. Asbestos needs specialist handling. Small amounts of bonded sheet from a home can go to Lynnbottom with a council permit. We clear the rest of the waste once it's gone.
Can you collect at stages during a build?
Yes. Each load gets its own price and transfer note, or one note can cover a series of collections of the same waste.
Does the waste need to be bagged?
No. We load loose rubble and timber as well as bulk bags. If you're filling sacks anyway, use strong ones and don't overfill them.
