Rubbish removal in Cowes, booked around Cowes Week

In Cowes, when you book matters as much as what's going. We plan around the regatta, the season and the Floating Bridge, then carry everything out for you.

Timing

Clear it the week before, not the week of

Cowes Week is the town's busiest time of year. In 2027 it runs from 31 July to 6 August. Near the High Street or the marinas, we'd rather clear before or after than sit in regatta traffic, and you get a better-planned job for it.

Cowes jobs

What Cowes books us for

Furniture with a second life goes first

Cowes has a furniture reuse charity most towns don't.

  • Storeroom2010 on Mariners Way

Helps families on low incomes furnish homes. The council lists it as a reuse group that can collect. Call first with a decent bed frame or table.

  • Mountbatten on the High Street

By the marina entrance. Takes bags and boxes of donations.

  • We take what's left

The broken, the stained, the unsellable, and anything too big for a car.

What we can't take

  • Asbestos
  • Gas bottles and marine fuel
  • Paint and solvents

FAQ

Cowes rubbish removal questions

Short answers. If yours is not here, call or send it with your quote.

Can you work during Cowes Week?

We can, but for anything near the waterfront we'd usually suggest the week before or after. If it can't wait, give us the address and we'll say honestly whether it'll work.

I also have rubbish in East Cowes. Can you do both?

Yes. Give us both addresses and we'll plan the route, round by Newport if the Floating Bridge is out of service. It has had several long outages since 2017.

Do you cover Gurnard and Northwood?

Yes. Both are part of the wider Cowes area and go on the same run.

Will Storeroom2010 take my sofa?

Call them first. Upholstered furniture needs a fire safety label for reuse, and they'll want to know its condition.

Can you clear a holiday let between bookings?

Yes. Give us the changeover window and some photos. Price and arrival time are both fixed before you commit.

Tell us what needs to go

A few quick questions and a photo or two is usually all it takes to give you a firm price. Or pick up the phone and talk to us.
