FAQ
Rubbish removal questions
Short answers. If yours is not here, call or send it with your quote.
How quickly can you collect?
It depends on the week. Tell us when you need it gone and we'll give you an honest date with the price. If it's urgent, see our emergency waste removal service.
Do I need to be at home?
Not always. If we can get to the waste, it's clearly marked and the price is agreed, we can collect while you're out.
Is it cheaper than the council bulky collection?
For up to four pieces of furniture you can carry to the kerb, the council's £62 service is usually cheaper. We make more sense when items are inside, there are more than four, or the load includes things the council won't take.
Can you use my free tip allowance?
No. The free DIY allowance at Lynnbottom and Afton Marsh is for residents bringing their own waste. No legitimate firm can use it on your behalf.
Will the council take extra bags beside my bin?
No. The council doesn't collect excess general waste left beside the bin, and warns it could lead to a fine. A one-off collection is the legal way to clear a backlog.
How do I know you'll dispose of it legally?
We're a licensed waste carrier and will give you our details to check on the Environment Agency register. If an unlicensed carrier fly-tips your waste, you can be fined up to £600 for breaching your duty of care.
