What's included
Small building, sorted properly
Most of a shed is easy. A few things aren't, and we know which.
Tools and workbenches
Hand and power tools, shelving and benches. Working ones go for reuse.
Mowers and strimmers
Taken once the fuel is drained, petrol or electric.
Bikes and garden toys
A bike that just needs tyres is worth more to someone than as scrap.
Pots, trays and netting
Plant pots, growbags, trellis, fencing and tarpaulins.
Chemicals flagged
Old weedkiller, paint and creosote set aside for you, with advice on where they go.
Swept out
Ready to reuse, sell or take down.
Who we help
Sheds we get asked to clear
Can't get in the door
Years of "it'll go in the shed". Cleared in one visit.
A late relative's workshop
Good tools sorted with care. Often part of a bigger clearance.
Before it comes down
Rotten or leaning? Empty it, then we dismantle it and take the base too.
Garden and shed together
If the garden round it is overgrown, clear both in one visit.
Cleared in four steps
- 1
Photos through the door
A couple from the doorway and one of the roof.
- 2
A fixed price and a date
You don't need to be home if we can get to the shed.
- 3
Emptied and sorted
Chemicals set aside. Metal, timber and reusable items separated.
- 4
Swept out
Left empty, or taken down if you booked that too.
Priced on the contents and the carry
Most shed clearances are a small job. Two photos are usually enough to price it.

- 03The carryA shed at the bottom of a long or sloping garden, with no side access.

FAQ
Shed clearance questions
Short answers. If yours is not here, call or send it with your quote.
Can you take old paint and weedkiller from the shed?
No. Paint, chemicals, weedkillers and fuel go to the recycling centres at Lynnbottom or Afton Marsh, which take them from residents with a booked slot. We set them aside so you can take them.
Will you take a petrol lawnmower?
Yes, once the fuel has been drained. The council's bulky waste collection doesn't take petrol mowers.
Do I need to be there?
Not if we can get to the shed and you've told us what is staying. Leave it open or the key somewhere agreed.
Can you take the shed down too?
Yes. Once it's empty we can dismantle and remove it as a shed demolition, booked together.
What if the shed roof is asbestos?
We can usually still clear the contents if the sheets are intact and we don't disturb them. We don't remove asbestos sheets; small amounts of bonded asbestos can go to Lynnbottom with a council permit.
What happens to the tools?
Working tools and equipment go for reuse where possible, and scrap metal goes to licensed recycling.
